Bakersfield, CA October 10, 2025 : Raíces of Kern, in collaboration with Kern High School District's South High School, Youth 2 Leaders, and various community sponsors, is excited to announce the "Salud Del Valle Valley Health Fest." This free, family-friendly event focused on Health, Culture, and Community will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at South High School, 1101 Planz Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93304. The festival's primary goal is to provide essential, accessible resources to Bakersfield residents while celebrating the cultural richness of Hispanic heritage.
The Salud Del Valle Valley Health Fest will offer a wide array of vital, free services. Attendees can take advantage of health screenings, dental checks, mobile health clinics, and a blood bank. Additionally, the event will provide critical public safety resources, including NARCAN training for overdose prevention. Beyond the resources, the festival will be a vibrant celebration featuring music, raffles, free food, and various displays that honor the language and traditions of Latin American culture, making it a fun and entertaining event for the entire family.
