Professional Headshot Event
In June 2025, Raíces of Kern hosted a free Professional Headshot Event in collaboration with local photographer Manuel Perez (@MP.Media9) to support community members in building their professional presence. Designed especially for students, recent graduates, job seekers, and emerging entrepreneurs—many from Kern County’s most underserved communities—this event provided attendees with high-quality headshots, mentorship, and networking opportunities in a welcoming, culturally-rooted environment.
By offering practical resources that support academic, career, and entrepreneurial growth, Raíces of Kern continues to invest in the long-term success and visibility of our community, one opportunity at a time.
