Join Javier Barba in collaboration with Raíces of Kern and Kern Family Health Care for the milestone 10th Annual Soccer Tournament and Toy Giveaway!

This exciting annual event brings the community together for spirited soccer competition, with the vital mission of spreading holiday cheer to underserved youth and families facing financial hardships in impoverished areas of Kern County.

🗓️ Event Details

Date: Sunday, December 14, 2025 • Time: 8:00 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m.

  • The 10th Annual 7 vs. 7 Co-Ed Soccer Tournament is a day of inclusive competition focused on community and fun.

    • Teams are guaranteed three games. (not including Semifinals & Finals)

    • A key rule for inclusivity: At least one female player must be on the field at all times.

    • Proceeds from the tournament go 100% toward purchasing toys & clothes for the annual giveaway.

How to get involved… *

  • Gather your friends, family, or colleagues and form a team to compete in the 10th Annual 7 vs. 7 Co-Ed Soccer Tournament! Your team's participation is a direct and powerful way to contribute, as the registration fee helps fund the toy giveaway for children in need.

    Team Requirements & Contribution:

    • Registration Fee: A charitable contribution of $300 is required from the Team Captain to secure your spot in the tournament. This fee directly purchases gifts for underserved youth.

    • Team Composition: While you can have a roster of any size, please ensure you maintain 7 players on the field at all times, with a minimum of one female player on the field throughout the game.

    • The Goal: Compete with spirit, embrace the fun, and help us make the holidays brighter for hundreds of Kern County children!

  • • Come out to Yola Sports Center on December 14th to cheer on the teams! • Buy some of the food we will be selling. •Check out the resources that will be joining us.

  • Your financial contribution directly purchases toys & clothes for children in need.
